Adieu couvent ...

Encore un pan du patrimoine des territoires qui disparaît aujourd’hui. Le Couvent de la Visitation à Vif dans l’Isère, vient d’être définitivement rayé du paysage. Construit en partie au XVIIème siècle, le lieu avait été abandonné par les sœurs en 2006.
Racheté par la commune, mais toujours laissé à l’abandon, il fut la cible d’un incendie en 2016. 600 m2 sur 2000 furent détruits. Mais il était toujours question de création d’un projet culturel dans les parties épargnées par l’incendie.
Il n’y aura pas de projet culturel, mais des logements en lieu et place de l’édifice qui a été entièrement rasé dans l’indifférence générale.
En attendant de voir « pousser » les logements en question, c’est un « joli parking » qui peut s’enorgueillir de prendre la place de 400 ans d’Histoire.
